Timothy G. Nelson is a partner with Skadden, Arps in New York. He has extensive experience representing clients in both litigation in federal and state courts as well as in arbitration before international and domestic arbitral bodies, such as the American Arbitration Association/International Centre for Dispute Resolution (ICDR), the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (formerly NASD) and the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID). Mr. Nelson also has experience in federal and state courts of appeal, including several significant cases involving the interpretation and application of the U.S. Federal Arbitration Act (FAA).
